Sue
Black
Susan's stories delight listeners of all ages. She believes sharing
stories together creates a sense of community; and being part of a community
inspires us to take care of one another. Whether telling personal stories,
folk tales, fairy tales, hero stories, or just making them up with the help
of the audiences, there is not escaping the magic and wonder. You may want
to move, chant, sing, think, imagine, and dream! Now, wouldn't that be
grand.Recipient of the Prairie Area Reading
Council Literacy Award, Sue combines her passion for storytelling with her
delight in teaching students and their teachers to tell stories. It's an
awesome combination! Her work includes taking students from page to stage in
residencies and as the sponsor of student storytelling clubs.

We love creating connections through
rhythm! We are Rhythm Circle Facilitators.
What¹s that, you ask?...A
Rhythm Circle is an interactive community building event in which we bring
drums and many unique rhythm instruments from around the world. We
encourage people to play together to make "in the moment" music.
It is not about being a musician...It
is not even about being a drummer. It is all about listening to each other
and building community together. There is no right or wrong way to play.
Each person contributes their own rhythm. Everyone benefits; no one is
left out!
We are not the performers but the
facilitators who allow people to engage in a fun, interactive music making
event together! Join in and let us show you how to get inspired and
energized !
